How to make my favorite cold drink!

There are few categories in this world I can honestly choose a "favorite" from, but this refreshing drink steals first place everytime.
What You Need:
-a glass of any size
-a little ice, if accessible
-two limes
-plain soda water
-silver tequila (optional)
-fresh cut pineapple (optional)
How to Make my Favorite Cold Drink:
Fill the glass only half way with ice. I am not a huge fan of ice. In many countries, it's not even an option. This drink is refreshing without ice anyway.
IF you are drinking alcohol (which I frequently ditch for days, weeks, who cares how long..), then a nice, smooth, silver tequila is my favorite choice. In fact, I don't really enjoy many other liquors anymore. But I do love tequila haha. So I give the ice a big splash, when I feel like it.
The limes are really the significant ingredient here. I love lime. It's tart like lemon but not too sour, and obviously goes perfectly with tequila. But even without alocohol, the limes are the masters of refreshment.
#kitchenhack: Before cutting into the limes, roll them onto the counter, pressing hard into them with your palm. This creates an internal "juicing" before you open it, and makes it easier to squeeze every last drop of citrus nectar into your glass!
So now you have a glass with ice, tequila and fresh-squeezed lime juice. That's totally drinkable! I often stop there haha.
If you have access to freah pineapple, cut that boy up into slices and hand squeeze a few strips into the drink as well! This is an ultimate treat for me! Pineapple is probably my favorite fruit... but that's a category too difficult to choose a favorite from, for me. Toss in the squeezed fruit remains too.
To really enjoy this drink, my favorite way, you should top it off with plain soda water. You could choose a flavored one, but if you want to understand my palate, you'll drink it plain. I love the simple things.
